It helps improve safety by providing higher luminance values at distances most critical to drivers, returning light to drivers under a diverse set of nighttime viewing geometries encountered by the driving public.
Translucent DG³ sheeting is intended for use on internally illuminated sign faces where it is desirable to have a high level of diffuse light transmission from internal sources and a powerful reflective backup in case of light system failure.
