This kit includes a reusable wraparound mold and accessories for use with 3M™ Scotchcast™ Flame-Retardant Electrical Insulating Resin (purchase separately) that are necessary for repairing cable jackets. It is suitable for insulation, mechanical protection and repairs, or splices of cables rated up to 2 kV.
3M™ Scotchcast™ M Series Cable Repair Kit offers a durable and flexible jacket repair when it is combined with a flame retardant compound. Both portable power cables and standard cables can be repaired using this cable repair kit. The wraparound mold included in the kit allows you to repair the jacket without cutting through the cable. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant and MSHA Approved (when used with Scotchcast Compound 2131).
