Encapsulated silicone adhesive binds only when pressure is applied will not stick to gloves|Ideal for real-time qPCR, storage, and protein crystallization|These sealing films are made of a unique, 50m polyolefin film that utilizes an encapsulated silicone adhesive that is non-tacky until pressed in place on microplates eliminates sticking to gloves. Adhesive only seals around wells, keeping the area over the wells encapsulated and inert. Film fits within the raised area of 96-well plates, preventing loss of seal. White tabs on either end of film provide easier positioning on the plate. Heat resistant films offer a high optical clarity with minimal autofluorescence. Film is chemically inert (except at extreme pH) and offers DMSO resistance for high through-put screening. Films are certified Dnase-, Rnase-, and nucleic acid-free.
