Calibrations on handheld multimeters with infrared functions are performed using high-accuracy multi-function calibrators and standard-grade reference multimeters per manufacturers recommended procedures. The infrared function of the meter is calibrated using radiometrically-calibrated blackbody sources. Electrical measurements can be taken up to 40,000 Volts, 1000 Amps, 10 Tera-Ohms, 110 Mega-Farads, and 1.1 Giga-Hertz and infrared temperatures can be taken between -15 and 500 deg C.
