It can help identify any shorted turns, open-circuited conditions, or insulation deterioration to ensure the power transformer is performing properly.

A full-color, hi-bright LCD screen, rotary knob, seven function buttons, and an easy-to-follow setup provide the right result every time. The meter performs a vector group validation during every test to determine whether the transformer is additive or subtractive. Use the excitation current test to locate defects in magnetic core balance, magnetic core structure, shifting windings, failures in the turn-to-turn insulation, or problems in tap changers.
