The silicone insulation on the lead wires resists melting in hot environments as well as becoming brittle in cold temperatures. Use lead wires with testing devices that have universal 4 mm jacks. The alligator clips with teeth grip the conductor securely for hands-free operation; the clips are 3.15" long and have 0.30" jaw opening.
