Units come pre-programmed to run at 150C for two hours for standard COD digestions, but may be adjusted in 0.1C increments from ambient to 150C for other reactions . The heating mat maintains a setpoint within ±0.1C and sample consistency of ±1.5C. The Safe-Sample temperature protection system alerts you in the event of runaway temperatures. The unit will sound an alarm and shut off heating to protect samples.
