The fittings feature an automatic shutoff spring-operated stainless-steel valve which closes and seals the fluid pathway upon decoupling, protecting the sterility on each side of the system. Constructed of polypropylene, the panel mount fittings with a -28 flat bottom port, provide enhanced chemical resistance, making them ideal for harsher environments. An ergonomic thumb latch enables effortless one-handed connection and disconnection, even when wearing gloves. These fittings can withstand pressures ranging from vacuum to 120 psi (8.3 bar) and operate effectively within a temperature range of 32 to 160 F (0 to 71 C).
