Use the two- and six-place Kjeldahl distillation apparatus as a separate distillation station or as an addition to an existing Kjeldahl apparatus. All models feature individual infinite-control knobs that provide variable heat input from 20 to 100% capacity for excellent heat control. Each 600-watt curved heater cradles Kjeldahl flasks for fast and evenly distributed heat. The distillation apparatus accepts 500- or 800-mL Kjeldahl flasks; simply move the heating element assembly forward or backward on the runway to accommodate different sizes. The connecting bulb/caustic trap effectively separates liquid from vapors before vapors enter the condenser, trapping caustic mists. A built-in dual baffle in the bulb/trap provides protection against leakage. The distillation condensation manifold features seamless stainless steel tubes; no fittings or gaskets are required, eliminating potential leaks. The one-piece borosilicate glass delivery tube features a long neck, round perforated bottom, and thick walls to help eliminate pressure fluctuation in the distillation phase.
